Middle School Workshop on Internet Safety

Organizers: M. Vessio / J. Coratti

The workshop is organized through the Queens’ District Attorney’s office. Through the Youth Empowerment Unit*, the Queens’ District Attorney’s office utilizes Assistant District Attorneys, NYPD Options Program, and Credible Messengers to discuss topics ranging from Internet Safety to Building Healthy Teenage Relationships to Bullying.

During the workshop, there will be discussions on the various ways in which individuals can become victims of cyberbullying and how individuals can manage their online presence in order to avoid potentially dangerous situations.

We are very excited for this workshop and hope you will ask your child(ren) what they learned!
