Parents/Guardians - We invite you to reflect on your family's experience here at K-F and share your feedback with us by answering a brief, parent/guardian survey by Thurs 10 Oct at 11:00 pm.
The survey should not take longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.
Your feedback is important to us and will help us learn more about our current strengths and opportunity areas, ways we can best support new and current students, and how we can demonstrate who we are as a school community to prospective families looking to find the right school for their children.
The survey is being administered by an outside consultancy to ensure anonymity and confidentiality of the information that each family shares.
The survey is best completed on a desktop but can also be taken on a tablet or phone.
The survey should only be completed once per parent/guardian (and can only be taken once per device), but all parents/guardians are invited to complete the survey.
If you have any questions about the survey itself, please send us an email at kewforest@kewforest.org.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to share more about your K-F experience with us!
Jagwear (spiritwear) is a collection of apparel inspired by our school colors, red (maroon) and blue (navy), and mascot (jaguar), designed to promote school pride.
What counts as Jagwear?
Official Jagwear apparel, the Physical Education (PE) uniform, Field Day t-shirts and/or any other official school related apparel that has been sold in the past to promote school spirit.
If I am a new student, faculty or staff member, or have outgrown my Jagwear, what can I wear?
It is NOT a requirement to wear Jagwear on Jagwear Fridays.
Students: If you do not own Jagwear, students should wear their PE uniform or academic uniform. Students can also opt to wear solid-colored red and blue clothes with no patterns or logos.
Faculty and staff: Faculty and staff without Jagwear should dress as they normally do. They are encouraged (but not required) to wear a mix of our school colors, red (maroon) and blue (navy).
The Kew-Forest School is hosting our very first Read-A-Thon! We want it to be a great success for our school, and to make that happen, we are asking every family to participate by reading to oneself, reading aloud to younger children, listening to podcasts, etc.!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader(s) excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child(ren) to read even more. There will be prizes for the top classes and top students!
If your child is not registered in Afterschool, but you would like your child to attend, please email ksterling@kewforest.org. The rate for non-registered students: $35 until 4:30 pm and $45 until 6:00 pm.
