College Counseling Virtual Admission Information Session for Middle and Upper School Families

Current students and parents are welcome to join to learn more about Kew-Forest's College Counseling Program.Our program provides comprehensive, year-by-year guidance tailored to each student's unique journey. From setting goals and exploring interests in freshman year to crafting strong applications and making thoughtful decisions as seniors, we are dedicated to supporting students every step of the way.Our Director of College Counseling works closely with students and families, offering personalized attention through one-on-one meetings, workshops, and group sessions on topics, such as essay writing, financial aid, and application strategies.This is a great opportunity to see how Kew-Forest equips students for success in college and beyond. If you would like to attend, please join via Zoom here. The passcode is 1918. There is no need to register. No Afterschool Supervision for Middle & Upper School Students Today
Please note there will be no after school supervision with Ms. Gendler in Room 1-4 today. Students awaiting parent pick-up must wait in the Main Rotunda. -
Jagwear Friday
Jagwear (spiritwear) is a collection of apparel inspired by our school colors, red (maroon) and blue (navy), and mascot (jaguar), designed to promote school pride.What counts as Jagwear?- Official Jagwear apparel, the Physical Education (PE) uniform, Field Day t-shirts and/or any other official school related apparel that has been sold in the past to promote school spirit.
If I am a new student, faculty or staff member, or have outgrown my Jagwear, what can I wear?- It is NOT a requirement to wear Jagwear on Jagwear Fridays.
- Students: If you do not own Jagwear, students should wear their PE uniform or academic uniform. Students can also opt to wear solid-colored red and blue clothes with no patterns or logos.
- Faculty and staff: Faculty and staff without Jagwear should dress as they normally do. They are encouraged (but not required) to wear a mix of our school colors, red (maroon) and blue (navy).

Queens, NY 11368The purpose of this trip is multifaceted. It will provide an opportunity for students to continue to get to know one another cross divisionally, as well as their teachers in a fun setting. It will also allow faculty and students to celebrate the start of winter break together!Due to the trip, there will be NO CLASSES on Fri 20 Dec.The cost to attend is $10.00. Payment can be made in cash or by check paid to the Kew-Forest School. The payment should be placed in a SEALED envelope with the child’s first and last name on the front and given to Ms. Vessio no later than 3:00 pm TODAY.Trip Details:- Students are permitted to dress down for the trip, but are expected to dress appropriately.
- Students must arrive at Kew-Forest by 8:10 am and report to their Homeroom class for attendance.
- Students and faculty will take private buses to and from the World Ice Arena.
- Buses will depart from Kew-Forest at 8:30 am sharp for the World Ice Arena.
- Students will ice skate from approximately 9:00-11:15 am.
- Buses will depart from World Ice Arena skating rink at 11:30 am and will return to Kew-Forest no later than 12:00 pm.
- Lunch will NOT be provided by the School. Your child may bring money to purchase food, snacks, and beverages; however, we strongly advise no more than $25.
In order for your child to attend the Ice Skating Event, please complete the Permission Slip Form.We are looking forward to a fun and eventful day! -
